Cannondale

Cannondale is a US company with a quality range of road, mountain bike and recreational bike styles.  Cannondale are well known in the bike industry and don’t need too much introduction but these words from their website give a good insight to their philosophy.

In the US, Cannondale are involved in what they call "The Good Fight" which is a range of programs that they are supporting to get more people on more bikes, use cars less and 'save the planet'.  Checkout the Cannondale website for more info.

Bianchi

A name synonymous with cycling and great bicycles since 1885.  Bianchi bikes are made in Italy where Edoardo Bianchi had his first shop in Via Nirone, Milan more than a century ago. 

Bianchi philosophy; every approach has to be personal: light and fast on road, strong and reckless off-road or carefree during the long weekend outings. We have three categories for road: HoC (Hors Categorie), B4P (Born for Performance) and C2C (Coast to Coast). For the first category, there are lightweight bicycles made for those who want to challenge the law of gravity, with racing geometries and no compromise. But if you want lightweight frames with less extreme geometries to throw at your challenges then you will like the B4P series, bicycles conceived to take you everywhere. Maybe you like riding and riding, non-stop, from early morning to late evening and comfort for you is more important than performance, then C2C is the right choice for you: “more upright” geometries, designed less for ultimate aerodynamics and more for comfort in mind.

Cervelo

(The first cervelo time trial bike)

Cervélo Cycles began in Canada in 1995 when 2 engineers, Phil White and Gérard Vroomen, decided to take the work they had been doing on developing faster Time Trial bikes, to market.  Their philosophy in 1995 was the same as it is today:  unbeatable in aerodynamics yet sacrificing nothing in weight or stiffness.

Within two years Cervelo had won triathlons, time trial nationals in Germany and Canada, participated in the Triathlon & Cycling World’s, and raced the Olympic Time Trial in Atlanta.

Phil and Gerard still own and manage Cervelo.  Words from the founders: "The mission was simple: "To help our customers win races". It is safe to say we accomplished that, with our Team CSC ranked #1 in the world and the P3 being the winningest triathlon bike model in Ironman history (over 30 victories). But it is equally true for our "regular" customers, we are proud and happy to have played a small role in so many people's achievements. "

De Rosa

The symbol of DeRosa is a heart and it's an appropriate one; for the love and passion that the artisan bicycle builder Ugo DeRosa from Milan devotes to the DeRosa bicycles. DeRosa's real company name is DeRosa Ugo & Figli - Ugo DeRosa and Sons - and like many small Italian firms that make unique, often world-famous artisan products, DeRosa is a family affair.

Ugo DeRosa began building bicycle frames in 1952 and was commissioned by legends Eddie Merckx, Gianni Motta and Soler and Suarez of Spain.  Today, Ugo’s three sons: Danilo, Doriano and Cristiano are involved in the business and Italian pro racing team LPR and USA team Rock Racing ride DeRosa bikes.

This is what DeRosa has to say about their King 3 Carbon frame:

Orbea is a spanish company , where cycling is a way of life!
